The program was designed to prepare students with the fundamentals and applied knowledge of materials to address challenges encountered by the local and global materials industries. The program combines both coursework and research to provide advanced foundational education to professionals interested to pursue research careers in MSE-related fields. Students with B.S. degrees in engineering or sciences will gain a fundamental understanding of materials structure, properties, and the performance of materials in engineering applications.
