At the Materials Science and Engineering Department, KFUPM , enhancing support for our graduate students has been our primary goal this year. We are dedicated to keeping our students informed about new regulations, ensuring understanding of rights and responsibilities, and fostering a safe research environment.

On September 9th at 9:30 a.m., a crucial mandatory EHS lab safety workshop for all MSE graduate students was conducted by EHS specialist Ahmed Alrumaih from Core Research Facilities (CRF), KFUPM. This session was an essential step in our commitment to safety, followed by a mandatory safety exam. Passing this exam is required to gain access to MSE labs for our research activities.

A huge thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this workshop under the leadership of our chairman Dr. Nayef Alsaifi and exemplary support from Dr. Atif Alzahrani whose dedication to maintaining a safe and productive research environment is truly appreciated.
